Latifah Muhammad is the Assistant to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs eLearning and Educational Technology at the Tennessee Board of Regents. Her duties include, assisting with the implementation of the Regents Online Campus Collaborative (www.rodp.org) and coordination of campus faculty assignments. She also has experience in teaching and facilitating online orientation courses to prepare students for online learning in a virtual setting and training faculty in the use of course management tools (D2L) and best practices for online teaching and learning.
Ms. Muhammad has a B.A. and M.A. in English and is currently pursuing an Ed. D. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Online Teaching and Learning (projected completion date of Fall 2009). Her professional services and presentations include the International Forum for Women in eLearning (IFWE) 2007 Conference planning committee and a Women in Higher Education in Tennessee (WHET) 2006 conference panelist. She is currently coordinating the development of a Doctoral Graduate Student Social Network Online Community for Tennessee State University.
